Commercial Sale Executive

We are seeking a new Sales Executive to join our busy team in Commercial Sales.  Great opportunity to work with Ford brand and the largest family-owned independent Ford Dealer in Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities:

  • Up-sell accessories and add-ons at every opportunity.
  • Contribute to the high standard of display at Desmond Motors, ensuring all cars are test drive / viewing ready.
  • Complete each sale to Ford Standard.
  • Accompany customers on vehicle test drives.
  • Greet customers in a timely manor as the enter the showroom.
  • Provide vehicle demonstrations for new and used cars.
  • Ensure at all time throughout the sale process you are following all FDA guidelines.
  • Photograph and video cars on the forecourt for customers and company website.
  • Advise customer on the finance, monthly payments, trade in options and warranties available on vehicles.
  • Create fleet and business proposals for B2B customers.
  • Actively promote the Desmond Motors and Ford brand on digital channel such as Linked In.
  • Provide an excellent experience for customers, creating customer loyalty and brand advocacy.


Qualification/Experience:

  • Experience in sales is essential. Sales experience in vehicles or B2B is an advantage.
  • Must be self-motivated, target driven and have an enthusiastic personality.
  • A true desire to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly.
  • Able to demonstrate drive, commitment and enthusiasm; together with a willingness to contribute to your team and more importantly your customers.
  • Listen well, influence & persuasive.
  • Able to convince others in both positive or negative circumstances.
  • Manage and close existing deals while cultivating new opportunities.
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge.
  • Must be flexible to work weekends, nights and bank holidays.
  • Must hold a valid Driving licence.
     

Work Schedule:

Our Sales Executives work 5 out of 7 days each week which will include 1 late nights until 7.30 pm and rotated Saturdays from 9 am to 2.30 pm. Bank holidays are rotated and open under Saturday hours. The sales team will receive full days holiday for any Bank Holidays worked.

*To be eligible for a company vehicle, you must have held a full manual driving licence for a minimum period of 6 months
