The Transit Double Cab-in-Van combines premium passenger comfort with renowned Ford Transit toughness.
With Transit Double-Cab-in-Van there’s plenty of space for your whole work crew plus all their gear. Three front passenger seats plus a spacious second row of seating allows for up to 7 occupants.
A fully glazed sliding side door provides unrestricted access for rear passengers. And a fixed bulkhead comfortably separates second-row seating from the large crew van’s rear load space.
Three available wheelbase options give the Transit Double Cab-in-Van up to 10.6 cubic meters of load capacity in the L4 (extended wheelbase) variant. Meaning you get a large crew van with enough for three standard Euro pallets.
Ford EcoBlue Engine
Featuring a range of 2.0 litre Ford EcoBue Diesel Engines, the Double Cab Transit is more powerful and more efficient than ever. With four powertrains available, offering up to 185PS max horsepower, you're guaranteed to find the one that suits your specific needs. The Transit Double-Cab-In-Van is also available with a Heavy Duty Truck (HDT) engine for customers who need a bit more torque, making it the ideal crew van for heavier conversions.
Confidence in Changeable Conditions
Icy winter roads, muddy access track - whatever your business takes you, All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) give you the confidence to go there. Intelligent AWD is a torque demand system delivering surefooted progress over challenging surfaces. At the touch of a button or in response to driving conditions. AWD keeps you and your cargo squarely on the road. And for a weight gain of just - 60kg, you get added versatility without sacrificing payload.
Lane Keeping System
The Transit Double Cab's Lane-Keeping System uses a forward camera to detect if you're unintentionally drifting out of the lane. Lane-keeping aid provides gentle steering torque to steer you back into your lane. If your wheel touches the line or edge of the road, Lane Keeping Alert vibrates the steering wheel and displays a visual warning. The technology automatically deactivates at speeds below 43mph (64kph), or it can be turned off manually.
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
If any of your tyres start to lose pressure during your journey, the Tyre Pressure Monitoring system will want you immediately if there is a puncture by lighting up and icon on the instrument panel.
A tiny Panoramic Camera on the front of the van relays on a split-screen image to your Transit's multi-function display so you can see vehicles, cyclists or pedestrians coming from either side. This front wide-view camera is invaluable if you're edging out of a narrow parking space, or on a busy road where your view is restricted.
